This morning I have a dentist appointment and I set out a little early to grab a coffee down at the Kingston foreshore.

Indulging in a croissant or toasted banana bread seemed a little hypocritical seeing I was about to get a filling. So I settled for a plain old pre-drill coffee and a glass of water. Disappointed a little, as the croissants looked delicious.

The Local Press Cafe serves cafe meals, (meat thru vegan), that are ”unrefined, unprocessed and free of unnecessary additives and preservatives”. They also try to recycle, re-use or compost all their waste wherever possible

The service was great and coffee delivery was prompt despite the place being busy. Seating was comfortable and the view out across the lake pleasant.

So. I sat and read my book and eavesdropped conversations and tried as much as possible to think non-dentist related thoughts.
