Remember those scenes during 9/11 where hundreds of people were running away from the burning twin towers? And remember watching as against that stream of humanity desperately seeking safety the people of the emergency services were moving selflessly and assuredly towards the buildings? Into the midst of danger.

Today, all over the world nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, orderlies and other health professionals move selflessly and wholeheartedly towards an equally uncertain situation. Into the midst of danger.
