This scampering bee
surely bewildered 
                       in its death. 

You have probably come across a bee scurrying around on the ground, unable to fly and never to return to it’s hive. Perhaps it has recently stung, perhaps it is just old.

I watched one today, out by the letterbox. Fallen from the grapevine. How strange it must be.
