Podcast review: The Huberman Lab.

Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

The Huberman Lab podcast is hosted by Dr Andrew Huberman, professor of neurobiology and ophthalmology at Stanford University School of medicine.

His episodes cover a wide range of health, fitness, and performance (both mental & physical) topics.

Some examples of recent episodes include:

  • Healthy & disordered eating.
  • Dopamine mindset and drive.
  • Understand and conquer depression.
  • Perfect your sleep.
  • Optimise brain-body health.

You get the idea.

He (and his guests) reliably provide a deep, sometimes technical and usually engaging dive into each topic he covers. Backed with the latest scientific evidence (as always…question everything, even when it is coming from someone who seems academically legit) he often provides clear and easily actionable steps you can take to optimise your own health.

To get a taste of his style, you can check out his latest episode on the benefits of fasting (also called time-restricted feeding) for fat loss and health.

I have the Huberman Lab locked into my own regular podcast listening app.
Not every episode is my cup of tea, but there is plenty of interesting content and information to digest.
