We have been meaning to try out the Milton Showgrounds as an overnight stop for a while now.

Plenty of level, soft grassy parking choices, a toilet block that has showers, and the option of powered sites. Unfortunately there had recently been some sort of failed attempt to defuse a curry-beef-vindaloo & toilet paper bomb in the men’s loo.

Similarly, Kelly went to have a shower only to return 2 minutes later. “I don’t want to talk about it” is the only report I could get from her.

All operator error issues in the amenities block aside (don’t get me started), this is a quiet peaceful location with beautiful rural views.

In fact tonight we have the entire showground to ourselves.
