Red Rock
Today we arrived at Red Rock (pop 274). We pulled in late afternoon, found a beautiful little park with a view and put the kettle on. Our plan was to engage Ripley’s stealth mode for the night and find a quiet spot to snuggle into.

Byron Bay
Byron Bay was named after the naval officer John Byron (and grandfather of the poet Byron) by Lieutenant James Cook in 1770 whilst searching for safe anchorage.

Kingscliff
We spent the night stealthing in the beautiful little village of Kingscliff. And by ‘stealthing’ I mean at dusk we found a quiet non-residential spot just on the edge of town (it was just a large, regular parking bay really), and settled Ripley in for the night.
