Housekeeping: give me some tough love.

Its that time of the year again. Im due for renewal of my blog hosting account soon.

So, this site is a labor of love. It is my therapy.
I’m fishing both for a little feedback (including any suggestions on how to improve it),
and to get a dopamine hit that might compensate for the financial hit.

*sigh* Mainly, dopamine.

I am particularly interested in

  1. how you think I should promote this site.
  2. how many posts a day you can tolerate.
  3. What you really think about my photography (tough love encoraged).

For example, I have tinkered with the idea of a payed subscription tier with extra content for a few bucks a month (to help cover hosting costs), but the feedback seems to be this is super fiddly to access (requiring users log in to wordpress each time to access paywalled content). Im not sure.

    Well – I, for one, stumbled here by way of a chance post on Mastodon and I’ve spent a little time perusing your posts and photography. Gotta say – I like your work *and* your site. It’s simple. It’s unpretentious. It doesn’t hit me with a while lot of annoying pop-ups. I wouldn’t be too keen on changing anything.
