Soft eyes.

Some photographers talk about seeing the world with ‘soft eyes’. That is, seeing something worth capturing as an image that is otherwise lost in the usual visual distractions.

Anyone can take a photo. The art lay in seeing a photo.

Recognizing the gift that lay beneath an everyday simple experience and reifying it as a visual presentation of that recognition.
