Rain at last.

The weather broke late last night with the temperature rolling down into crazy lightning storms and bending wind and a post-constipated dump of rain.

This morning.

Windows open. Sitting here editing photos amidst the meditative pink noise of light rain on the roof. Soaking in the smells of petrichor and the visceral relief of parched things now wet.

  1. Isn’t the world bizarre? It’s been raining here for weeks, we’re almost desperate for a glimpse of the sun. Our VERY low reservoir has refilled over the last few weeks!
