After rolling my eyes at others ridiculous coffee rituals for years, I just bought a set of coffee scales for my pour-overs.

Now I am a coffee snob. Worse, I am a self-righteous, newly converted coffee snob.
And yes, the brew tastes significantly better.
- Select your favourite mug.
- I use Hario V60 Paper Coffee Filters
- 19g single origin dark roast. Coarse grind.
- Heat water to 99 C.
- Pour 40 mls.
- Let bloom for 40 sec.
- Add water to 100 mls over approx 20 sec (until water level is just above coffee grounds).
- Add water to 150 mls. Ditto.
- Add water to 200 mls. Ditto.
- Add water to 250 mls. Ditto
Sip & savour.
