tumblewax: my stream of consciousness

My own little Twitter feed. Without the BS.

Since leaving all the social media platforms, one thing that I do miss is the ability to post random thoughts and links to interesting articles and pictures and general life updates on the fly.

As a bit of an experiment I have started another output (known as a tumble blog) to try to fill this fantastical post-SoMe presumption that others are interested in what I might be up to.

A tumblelog is a variation of a blog, that favors short-form, mixed-media posts over the longer editorial posts frequently associated with blogging. Common post formats found on tumblelogs include links, photos, quotes, dialogues, and video. Unlike blogs, this format is frequently used to share the author’s creations, discoveries, or experiences without providing a commentary. – Wikipedia

You can find my stream of consciousness here: tumblewax.wordpress.com

You will also be able to see links to my 6 latest ‘tweets’ at the bottom of each post you are reading. Down after the comments section. See?

Unlike my longer writing, posts at tumblewax will be frequent, short and sharp.
Just a few sentences and maybe a link or two.
Much the same as if I were posting to Facebook or Twitter.

Due to the high frequency of posting you probably will not want to subscribe via email, but you can either bookmark the site to check in… or scroll down each time you read a post to see what I am up to in real time. I hope you might find it interesting.

I would love to hear any of your thoughts on this little sub-project.
