You know what I am talking about. And you have already no doubt seen this whole thing regurgitated, analyzed and discussed, ad nauseam.

Excuse me but I need to vent…..

For me this was the pivotal moment of fucked-up-ness:

Brian Glenn asks a banal question (more like makes a hostile infantile accusation) of a man trying to save his country from the murderous invasion by the authoritarian dictator Vladimir Putin.

Brian Glenn is the boyfriend of Marjorie Taylor Greene (republican conspiracy theorist and all-around not-a-nice-person). Brian is a reporter for ‘Real Americas Voice’ a far-right streaming media outlet that was given access to this press conference (whilst Associated Press and Reuters were denied).

Why was this arse-clown even allowed in the room?

This was proof to me that all credibility of the American machinery of government has been tossed out the window with the grace of a Russian “oops, he seems to have fallen out of a window” incident.

From this moment on things quickly devolved, Trump and JD Vance engaged full knob drive, and we were spectators to a master-class in bullying, disrespect, and unhinged, unfettered megalomania.

As the curse forebodes: may you live in interesting times.
