You know those perspective photos, like the ones were it looks like the girl is propping up the Leaning Tower of Pisa?
When you actually go to these places there is often a queue of people lined up to get just the right shot at perspective ground zero, even though it has all been done a bazillion times before.
It’s the photographic equivalent of asking a patient if they have any allergies and they say “yes….pain”.
Nurses have heard this a trinquillion times….but every time we laugh as if that was the funniest reply we have had all day. Its not easy being a nurse.
Yet on the flip side, even though you know its all been done before…there is some sort of inescapable gravitational suck that forces you to do it yourself.
I was a nurse for 36 years, yet when someone asks me if I have any allergies…..I have to bite my lips and aspirate my tongue not to say pain.
And even though I just know its been done before, when I see a tower and a statue with outstretched hands…I am absolutely sucked into finding the perfect position to…..well, this.
Isn’t this the funniest picture you have seen all day?
