Chucking it down outside, so went to check out the National Archives of Australia. They are showing an exhibition of past winners of the Australian Geographic Nature Photographers of the Year.

A small but worthwhile collection. And then we got distracted by a couple of other exhibits. And then doubled down on distraction by the excellent little cafe on site.

    Ah yes, surveilling the competition before entering the fray.

    Excellent. Musahsi would be proud… as he wrote in Go Rin No Sho:

    Knowing the times means, if your ability is high, seeing right into things. If you are thoroughly conversant with strategy, you will recognise the enemy’s intentions and thus have many opportunities to win. You must sufficiently study this.
