I’m experimenting with using slower shutter speeds at the moment. I really like the energy of frozen motion that can be explored with this technique.

I took this photo as a huge multicultural crowd of people disembarked from a ferry at Circular Quay on Sydney Harbour. The ferries were running late; they had switched some services around… the staff were obviously under pressure, and the atmosphere was compressed and tense.
