Saturday morning outing to take some photos found me immersed in the world of dogs, including this well-trained Boston Dynamics Spot the robo dog sitting in front of a bemused police officer.

The robot dog was on patrol (part of an exhibition introducing the world of forensic science to kids) at the Questacon building here in Canberra.

Watching the dog roaming around interacting with folks and walking up and down the concrete stairs instilled equal parts fascination and unease. But honestly, it was mostly just; whoa..coool!

It is easy to get a sense of the multitudes of potentials these dogs are evolving, both good and evil.
