Summer rains have inserted a welcome reprise to the parching heat of late. Transitioning from Tokyo winter to Canberra summer in a single day invigorated something of a thermostatic whiplash.

So today is ahhhhhhhhh.

Temps are forecast to reach into the high 30 C by the end of next week. But for the moment I will take the sound and the smell of summer rain.
