Monochrome photo of a small bird clambering up ont the bank of a lake.

Stepping out.

I get by with a little help from my wings.

A few photos as I strolled around the edge of the lake.
Random.
A thistle. Some sails. A bird stepping out.

Without a camera around my neck, these things would be nothing. Perhaps they wouldn’t even exist. But I see them (or perhaps more accurately, they make themselves known), and I make a picture of them, and then…they are something.

Nothing clever. Nothing special. Just paying attention and enjoying the misty rain and the coolness of the morning.
