It was a simple job.
Change the cartridge in a mixer tap in the bathroom.
Because annoying leak.
10 minutes. Max.

2 hours later….

Cant get the top off the tap.
Called a plumber ($290 call out fee).
He cant get the top off the tap.

So. Need new tap.
And by the way, that mains tap needs urgent replacement because it is super old and sketchy. Under the pavers and amongst the roots.

$3,000 ballpark.

So no photos today…..instead here are some older pics that help me unload that pent up bad Karma I have obviously accumulated¹.

1. Or perhaps it is GOOD karma…having identified a potential catastrophic mains rupture and averted flooding the house (probably while away on holidays!). You can never tell with karma. ↩︎
