Monochrome photo of broken glass window with reflection of the sky and some trees

Abandoned building.

Camera: Fujifilm XT-5 TTArtisan 50mm lens.

An old CSIRO agricultural research facility (I think), abandoned and no longer identified on Google maps.
Now decaying and vandalised. A magnificent glass atrium broken in on itself.

Many of the doors were busted open, beckoning deeper investigation…and trespass. Instead, I satisfied myself walking the perimeter of two of the buildings. Peering in the gloomy windows looking for signs of secret experimentation and likely alien containment. Alas. What I saw was empty drawers and emptied fire extinguishers and rubbish. Lots of rubbish.

I was locked and loaded with my 50mm lens, and with its cropped-in field of view, it was totally not the one I needed.
My 25mm would have captured the objects and their settings.

Nevertheless….
