Monochrome photo of boarder collie dog with is owner amidst a group of people at a pedestrian crossing.

This dog is holding space at the crossing.

Camera: Fujifilm XT-5 | TTArtisan 35mm lens.

0800 HRS: It is cold and windy and for a moment the sun broke through. I was walking down Oxford street. I was planning a breakfast coffee & croissant at Berkelouw bookshop. It was shut.
So. Onwards.

At one of the intersections this dude was walking his beautiful Border Collie. A group of pedestrians came up behind him and for a few brief moments of waiting for the lights to change, they all put away their screens to admire the dog.

By the time I got my camera up, the moment was fading, the lights were changing and the pull of the screens was strong.

The dog however, remained fully immersed in the moment.
