This was my second attempt at capturing this scene. Trying to shoot through traffic, my first shot was spoiled as I had made a huge palm-print smudge on my lens.

Damnit! The man in a suit that just came out the theatre doors was now out of frame.
Wait. Here comes a woman with an interesting top on.

A huff of breath and a wipe with my t-shirt and I was reset.

I like this picture. The window reflections (I wish there had been a vintage car passing by!), the detail relief in the building, the old posters on the column and the classic lighting.

And if you look closely, you can see the reflection of me taking the photo.

As usual, I recommend these photos are best viewed on a larger screen (iPad, laptop, desktop) to fully appreciate ‘my best attempt so far’ at making something beautiful. It is a work in progress.
