On average we’re doing fine.

I’ve arrived at Wallaga Lake. The van park I’m staying in is on a sort of isthmus. On one side is the lake, calm as liquid concrete. On the other, the wind is so choppy that even the seagulls are hunkered down behind the rocks.

This is all I got today. I pulled out the camera to take a shot and then spent the next 2 days chasing my hat (a rolling wheel) and searching for my lens cap (a frisbee). Much to the amusement of a group of locals.

Besides….before I left, Kelly told me about a man who was standing around talking to friends at a campsite down in Victoria when he was bitten on the foot by a Tiger Snake…..so I need to spend a more than sensible amount of time checking the cabin.

Because, Australia.
