We do.

Nothing we do can stop time’s passage and all the things that keep happening that we don’t want, like aging and loss. Even with a very deep and well-established practice that has grown new neurons and reduced stress and accomplished everything else that scientific studies promise, even then we still touch the sadness of life. We touch darkness and pain—and that fear of being no one.

Tracy Cochran. Presence.

I sat under this Autumn tree waiting patiently to capture the transience of a falling leaf. Every time my neck & arms got sore and I dropped the camera to my lap, a spray of multi-coloured leaves would fall. Every time I waited on point…..nothing.

Just as I was about to give up (after playing this game for way too long)….a lone bird flew by.

Waiting for the falling, I almost missed the flying.

Help fuel my creative mojo.
