Whilst these trees have not yet lost all their leaves, it will take but one big blow to drop the whole bundle.
We have had a spectacular sunny Autumn here in Canberra, but now that is dissolving away and the gob of winter is pushing its way in. Despite my resistance.
The smell of wood fires, red over beer, jumpers out of hibernation and tucking my T-shirt into my trousers (but not my underpants I hasten to add).
All signs that the cold grey Can-brrrrra days are soon here.
