Canberra is now well known for its Floriade Festival adding a little hypercolour to spring. It is marketed as Australia’s biggest celebration of spring. Hmmmmm, that is a big call.

Slightly less known is the flower power on show at the nearby Tulip Farm. It is less crowded and (as it is a family owned farm) way less commercially branded, and dog friendly to boot.

An absolutely delightful way to spend a spring afternoon. Take a picnic. Four and a half tulips out of five.
