Poetry is what is left after you subtract all the scrolling.

Your quest for this month should you choose to accept it:

  • Go out and buy a book of poetry. You all ready have one? Cool.
  • Leave it lying around the house in a prominent place. Sideboard. Kitchen table. Arm of couch. Good.
Bedside table. Toilet. Not so good.
  • Stop. Open it up at a random page and read a poem at some point during the day.
  • Better still. Make a brew and sit in your comfy chair for a short reading.

By the end of the month the goal is to have the book looking well loved with a broken spine, at least one stained page and at least one bit of particulate matter stuck between its pages.

Bonus quest points: if someone asks you what the heck you are doing reading poetry, squint at them mysteriously and say “its a secret”.

Unlock the wizard cloak of fantastitude: if that person ends up sneaking a peek.
