A group of intrepids head out on an approach span to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

I did this climb a few years back. The view was outrageous and the acclivity was surprisingly gentle.

I remember the experience being rounded by an irrational fear that I would need to go pee at some point where peeing would definitely be contraindicated.

Thankfully, despite drinking a lot of water (it was a hot morning) during the rather onerous safety preparations, I managed to climb out and back without requiring a pit stop.
