It will be raining soon. Perhaps a storm.

But in this moment, the lake is almost a mirror, the wind has dropped, and the seagulls have the pontoon to themselves.

I was driving past and saw the potentiality of this photo. I knew I would regret missing the opportunity to attempt to capture the moment, so I turned around as soon as I could and drove back to it. Due to the traffic it took a while….but I still turned back.

I surprise myself that I could be bothered.

I surprise myself how much more I am paying attention now.
