2 new videos on near death experiences.

This week, 2 new videos from the Parnia Lab, a research lab in the US “dedicated to improving resuscitation care and exploring what happens to the human mind during and after cardiac arrest.”

They are the group behind the AWARE and AWARE II studies, the first large-scale studies into people’s functional, cognitive, and consciousness experiences during cardiac arrest, so-called near-death experiences (or the now preferred label RED – recalled experiences of death).

These videos give a (somewhat clunky, but nevertheless worth watching) overview of the current state of play with respect to empirical studies of RED.
