Monochrome photo of cyclist rounding a corner. Behind him is a large lake and in the foreground can be seen the head of a woman.

Tinkering under the bonnet and bells.

If it’s not broken….don’t tinker!

Here is a picture I took yesterday after having lunch with Kelly down by the lake. You know there are two types of cyclists in this world….those who use their bell to let you know they are approaching from behind…and those who do not.

Believing all those who fall into the second category are inferior human beings and likely to fall into one of the seven cycling hells (all of which involve lycra in one way or another), I even purchased one of those old school bike bells. Brrrrrrrrring-brrrrrring.

–ooOoo–

In other news, I have been tinkering under the bonnet of this website to better integrate the email digests. I want to send out one email a day to y’all, with a summary of all my posts for that day. Rather than a single email every time I post.

Yesterday, in full tinker mode, I actually broke the whole site for a while and then spent a frustrating afternoon getting it back on terra firma. You still cannot sign up for the digest yet1, but fingers crossed that should rectify itself within the next 24hrs.

  1. If you already get my posts by email, you dont need to do anything, you should be transfered across to this new service shortly. ↩︎
