The most futile part of hating pigeons

Is trying to convince the pigeon

They are 
                     a pigeon. 

We have a large flock of pigeons that roost in a tree near our house. I dislike them immensely. They make cooing flapping pigeon noises all day long and shit over everything. The pigeons, on the other hand, are as happy as Larry doing their thing and care not one ounce of seed about what I think.
