Here is a video that will be of interest to those contemplative consciousness nerds out there.
Mind you, if it is a little too early in the day for you to be tackling the origins of our experience of consciousness or the very structure of reality itself, you might find want to make yourself a coffee instead.
Two of my favourite ‘consciousness’ intellectuals: Professor Christof Koch (a proponent of Integrated Information Theory (IIT) as the cause of consciousness) and Dr Bernardo Kastrup (a proponent of Analytical Idealism — the idea that everything is made of consciousness…ie there is nothing material at all) in deep conversation.
“Reality is frequently inaccurate.”
― Douglas Adams
Too early in the day?
For a primer on what the heck these two are talking about you might want to read this first: The World Through a Dashboard.
As I said, this is a dense conversation between two professional intellectuals…but if you stick with it, you might be faced with some pretty fascinating possibilities. With or without coffee.
